At Coach A.Lim Swimming, our Learn to Swim program is designed to have a fun and safe learning experience for our students and swimmers.
LEVEL-1: BASIC
This course will set the foundation for learning proper swimming strokes including water acclimatization, proper breathing, floating and gliding in both supine and prone position, flutter kick.
LEVEL-2: INTERMEDIATE
This course will teach the swimmer the first two strokes (freestyle & backstroke swimming). After learning the kick from the basic course, the swimmer will now learn freestyle and backstroke pulling, proper body position, and breathing.
LEVEL-3: ADVANCE 1
This course will allow the swimmer to swim the breaststroke. The proper breaststroke kick, pulling, body position, and breathing will be taught.
LEVEL-4: ADVANCE 2
This course will allow the swimmer to swim the butterfly stroke. The proper dolphin kick, butterfly pull, body position, and breathing will be taught.
LEVEL-5: COMPETITIVE
This course will complete the swimmer’s swimming skills, enabling him/her to join competitions. Dives, turns other competition skills will be taught.
COMPETITIVE/FITNESS TRAINING- For young swimmers, this is a transition phase for those who wish to go into competitive swimming. Stroke mechanics as well as endurance will be the focus of the program.
- For adults, this is a chance to learn and improve on their current swimming skill, and be fit. Proper stroke technique will help the swimmer swim more efficiently and avoid unnecessary injuries.
